1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Truck Relay's dispatch services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Service Description
Truck Relay provides professional freight dispatch services to independent owner-operators and small trucking companies. Our services include load booking, rate negotiation, documentation management, and carrier support services.
3. Carrier Requirements
To use our services, carriers must:
- Hold valid DOT and MC numbers
- Maintain proper commercial vehicle insurance
- Provide accurate business and contact information
- Comply with all applicable federal and state transportation regulations
- Maintain vehicles in safe operating condition
4. Service Fees and Payment
Our dispatch services are provided on a percentage-based fee structure or fixed rate per load, as agreed upon in your service agreement. Payment terms include:
- Fees are calculated based on gross load revenue
- Payment is due upon carrier receipt of load payment
- No upfront fees or setup costs required
- Detailed invoicing provided for all services
5. Responsibilities and Limitations
Truck Relay serves as a dispatch service provider and booking agent. Our responsibilities include:
- Professional load booking and rate negotiation
- Documentation management and support
- Carrier-broker communication facilitation
- 24/7 dispatch support services
Carriers retain full responsibility for: vehicle operation, regulatory compliance, load delivery, driver management, and all safety-related matters.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate this service agreement with 30 days written notice. Truck Relay reserves the right to terminate services immediately for breach of terms, non-payment, or unsafe operations.
7. Limitation of Liability
Truck Relay's liability is limited to the amount of dispatch fees paid. We are not liable for cargo damage, delivery delays, regulatory violations, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from service provision.
8. Confidentiality
All carrier business information, load details, and financial data will be maintained in strict confidence and used solely for the purpose of providing dispatch services.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Truck Relay conducts business. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
10. Changes to Terms
Truck Relay reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
